大魚塘村位于元陽縣新街鎮(zhèn)東南部，靠元坪公路，交通便利，處于元陽縣集中連片風(fēng)光絢麗的19萬畝梯田間。隸屬于新街鎮(zhèn)土戈寨村委會，距新街鎮(zhèn)9公里，海拔1800米，年均降雨量充沛，日照充足，素有“天然氧吧”之稱。世居哈尼族，是典型的哈尼民俗村寨，也是研究、了解哈尼族傳統(tǒng)風(fēng)俗最好的村落之一。全村共有農(nóng)戶95戶366人。2009年全村經(jīng)濟總收入111.8萬元，農(nóng)民人均純收入2467元，糧食總產(chǎn)量81噸，人均有糧207公斤，村民收入主要以種植業(yè)、勞務(wù)輸出為主。
Dayutang Village Briefing
Dayutang Village is located in the south of Xinjie Town, close to Yuanping road, with traffic convenience, spotted in the beautiful landscape of 190,000 Mu(a acre=6.075Mu) terraced fields, under the jurisdiction of the Tugezhai village party committee, 9 km away from the Xinjie Town, 1800m above the sea level, with lots of rainfall every year and abundant sunlight, called “natural oxygen bar”, permanent residence of Hani people, a typical village of Hani Folk Customs & Culture, and is one of the best choice for studying the tradition and cultures of the Hani people. The whole village has 95 household, population of 366. The total income of the village in 2009 is 1,118,000RMB, the average net income of the peasants is 2,467 RMB, total grain output is 82 tons, 207 kilograms on average, and the income of the village mostly is generated from farming and labor output. 
大魚塘村位于哈尼梯田核心區(qū)，有著得天獨厚的旅游發(fā)展區(qū)位優(yōu)勢，作為中外游客主要觀光點之一，但長期來仍無法很好地發(fā)揮其良好的區(qū)位優(yōu)勢和典型的哈尼民俗文化特色。為保護和利用好大魚塘村獨具魅力的資源，元陽縣委、政府把大魚塘村列為元陽哈尼梯田民俗文化生態(tài)旅游重點村。
Dayutang Village is located in the core area of the Hani Terraced Fields, has a special competiveness in development of tourism. It is one of the main tourism spots for foreign and domestic tourism. However, for a long time, the competiveness of good geological location and typical Hani culture and specialties has not been completely displayed. To protect and make good use of the resources of the Dayutang, the Yuanyang Party Committee and the County’s Government have listed Dayutang Village as the one of Yuanyang Hani Terraced Fields culture & customs and ecological tourism villages.
